The academic absorption program - TAKAH - is for immigrant students who began their academic studies abroad, who wish to continue studying in Israel but do not need a mechina.
Whom does this program suit?

Students who fulfill the following requirements:
Have studied at least one year abroad in an institution of higher education and intend to continue their studies in Israel, or students who completed their B.A. studies abroad and wish to study for an M.A. in Israel.
Holders of a matriculation certificate equivalent to the Israeli certificate.
Exemptions from mechina studies.
Are entitled to Student Authority assistance.
The study programs is comprised of two stages:

- Five-month ulpan (level A) for Hebrew studies, 25 hours a week, for those who have not studied in an ulpan. Students may take level A elsewhere and study at this program only from level B.
- Advanced Hebrew, English, Computers, Mathematical Terminology (as needed) and Jewish History. Total - 38 hours weekly.
Preparation for the Psychometric Entrance Exam:

in the immigrants' native language, on condition that there are enough students for each language.
Students are required to pay for the preparation course.
Entrance Exam to the Academic Absorption Program

Student have to pass an entrance exam in Hebrew.
1. Studies are held at the Ashkelon Academic College, a branch of Bar Ilan University.

3. The Hadassa Academic College, Jerusalem
