Facilitating Academics-Placement in Public Institutions

AcademicsPlacement of Academics in Public Institutions

A returning resident who is eligible for vocational assistance, and who has found employment, may contact the employment coordinator at one of the branch or district offices of the Ministry of Immigrant Absorption in order to check the possibility of participation in financing the first period of their employment.

This possibility must be examined prior to the commencement of employment.

Assistance will be approved based on the employer's application, and will be transferred directly to the institution employing the returning resident, subject to the Ministry's budget restrictions and to compliance with Ministry regulations.

Integration into Employment – MainFor more information about this category of assistance, which is available to all populations served by the Ministry of Immigrant Absorption, see Promoting Employment in the section on employment on the Ministry website.

In addition, it is important to proccess an evaluation of foreign academic degrees and diplomas. Read more here.
