Dear Israelis,
On 16/5/2010 the Government of Israel decided to encourage Israelis living abroad to return to Israel.
This decision will take the form of assistance in the following areas:
taxes,
customs,
health insurance,
education,
employment
entrepreneurship.
Assistance will be extended to Israelis that have been residing abroad for at least five years and to whom at least one spouse served in the IDF or in National or Civilian Service (depending on the area of assistance).
Some of the benefits require amendments to laws and amendments (changes in legislation), internal, inter-ministerial organizational procedures, preparation of temporary regulations and preparations for implementation of new regulations.
Upon conclusion of preparations, the Ministry of Immigrant Absorption will provide a detailed announcement on our Website that will explain the types of assistance available and how the assistance will be administered.
You are advised to follow all updates on this Website as well as via
the National Telephone Information Center 972-3-9733333,
