The Assistance Process

1. Contact the coordinator for returning residents of the Ministry of Immigrant Absorption and receive a Returning resident certificate.
2. Bring the required documentation - if necessary.
3. Open a bank account for receiving payment.
4. Register at the Employment Service in order to receive income supplements.

Required documents:
 
 
  Passports of both spouses, proving a stay of at least two years abroad.
 Two passport photos.
  Up-to-date Identification Certificate (Te'udat Zehut).
  In the case of divorcees: court authorization that the children are being held legally, and notarized declaration of the other spouse's approval of the children leaving the country.
  In the case of parents returning to Israel separately, or of separated parents, or if there is no court decision concerning the children, a notarized declaration is required, or declaration before an Israeli Consular official, of the other parent's approval that the children be brought to Israel.

These publications may be ordered from the Israeli Consulates abroad or from the coordinators for Returning residents at the district offices of the Ministry of Immigrant Absorption.
