Information About "Klita-Talk"

"Klita-Talk" is a service provided by the Ministry of Immigrant Absorption together with Bezek that allows you to speak to a representative of the Ministry's Telephone Information Center, while you are on line, without having to disconnect from the Internet.

Your conversation is enabled through your computer's sound card, using VoIP technology. This allows the conversation to be transferred via the Internet. The telephone call is received by the Telephone Information Center as a regular call.

Telephone calls to the Telephone Information Center are free of charge to Internet users, and are paid for by the Ministry. To contact the Telephone Information Center, which operates out of the Ministry's Ben Gurion Airport branch office, dial (03) 9733333.

If you are using the "Klita-Talk" service for the first time (with any Internet site), it is necessary to install a "plug-in" program that allows for telephone conversations while you are on line. Having this program installed will allow you to use "ClickTalk" with any Internet site that accommodates it, without reinstalling it each time. The program takes a few minutes to download, and may vary from computer to computer.

NOTE! In order to use "Klita-Talk," you must ascertain that your computer includes the following specifications: a sound card, speakers, and a microphone (a headset system is recommended).
