The Ministry of Immigrant Absorption announces a special housing-placement campaign for new immigrants eligible for public housing apartments who have arrived in Israel up to the 31st of December, 2008.

The Campaign will last for one month and will commence on June 21, 2009.

The Ministry of Immigrant Absorption, in conjunction with the Ministry of Construction and Housing, has collected a supply of existing apartments for the purpose of assigning them to eligible immigrants that meet the criteria for public housing and that have been waiting for placement for several years.

Immigrants that chose to receive an apartment from the existing supply will be able to ease their economic circumstances and improve their living conditions.

 Apartments are located in peripheral communities.

 Those who apply early are most likely to receive an apartment.

 This campaign does not affect your place on a waiting list for public housing if you do not wish to participate.
